Join the SCD for this upcoming PT Day of Service Event!

The Southcentral District (SCD) is excited to announce our PT Day of Service event! The SCD will be volunteering at the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association (CATRA). CATRA is a therapeutic horseback riding company for people with disabilities. All volunteer activities will be outside and you have a significant chance of getting dirty so dress appropriately.

Service activities can include any of the following:

• Assisting with lessons
• Cleaning stalls and paddocks
• Sweeping, gardening and lawn care, stocking hay
• Cleaning water troughs, cleaning perimeters, brushing horses
• Painting fences, and general maintenance and repair.

The event will be held at CATRA which is located at 168 Station Rd in Grantville, PA. If you wish to volunteer, please sign up for a two-hour slot and include an email so that we may contact you with further instructions. Volunteering will take place on Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Once you sign up, someone will contact you from Southcentral District to fill out some volunteer paperwork. The deadline to sign up is Oct. 8.
