Treatment for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome remains challenging. Educational interventions, recommended by clinical guidelines, are a cornerstone of CRPS treatment. This masterclass reviews the current evidence regarding education topics in people living with CRPS, offering practical clinical strategies to improve CRPS-related outcomes. It also outlines the educational principles for effective interventions while pointing out the current issues with some education strategies. It provides evidence-based topics that can be targeted by educational interventions to influence pain and disability in CRPS.

Speaker: Marc Aureli Pique BatallaPT, MSc is physiotherapist in the Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Service in Bath, United Kingdom. This service provides specialist treatment for people living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Concurrently, he is pursuing a PhD at the University of West of England in Bristol, United Kingdom. His research focuses on exploring the role of cognition to treat complex chronic pain conditions
