6:30- 7:00 social, 7:00-8:00 Seeing is Believing: Practical Applications of Ultrasound Imaging in PT Practice con-ed, 8:00-8:30 business meeting.
Participants will first receive a brief, clinically focused overview of ultrasound basics including image formation, tissue appearance, and scope of use within physical therapy. The session will then transition into three real world clinical case examples illustrating how ultrasound imaging can support diagnosis, treatment selection, patient education, and clinical decision making. Emphasis will be placed on practical value, feasibility, and integration within current physical therapy practice.

Speaker: David Chessen, PT, DPT, ScD, MBA, OCS is a physical therapist and faculty member in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Seton Hill University. Dr. Chessen has research and educational interests in musculoskeletal imaging, injury prevention, and physical therapy practice management approaches. He is actively involved in integrating ultrasound imaging into DPT education and clinical practice.
