AAC Afternoon Chats are monthly, informal, virtual networking opportunities held after school for educators, therapists, and families supporting students who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). These interactive sessions offer short presentations, real-life case examples, and open Q&A to foster collaboration, problem-solving, and professional growth around AAC implementation in schools.

Words and Stories: Weaving AAC into Literacy Instruction

Literacy opens doors for communication growth. This session will introduce strategies for using AAC in reading and writing instruction, including shared stories and core vocabulary. The networking portion will allow participants to share favorite literacy activities and explore ways to adapt them for AAC users.
