Who can I contact if I have been presented with an ethical dilemma?

What continuing education questions can APTA Pennsylvania help me with?

APTA Pennsylvania only pre-approves courses sponsored through and for APTA Pennsylvania Districts, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and Committees.

Other CE approval questions must be directed to the PA State Board of Physical Therapy.

Do I need to become a member of APTA to join APTA Pennsylvania?

APTA Pennsylvania is a state chapter of APTA, so with your APTA membership, you must also be a member of your state chapter. According to the APTA website:

“Concurrent payment of national and chapter dues is required. You must belong to the chapter of the state in which you live, work or attend school full-time, or of an immediately adjacent state to which more active participation is possible.”

Where can I find the Direct Access application?

All professional licensing applications can be accessed via the PA State Board of Physical Therapy website.

What do I need for my licensure renewal?

Will I be able to purchase a webinar?

APTA Pennsylvania does not currently offer this service.

Why am I not receiving email communications?

Please check your junk or spam folder to ensure the emails have not been sorted there. If the emails do not appear there, please check with your IT department to see whether firewall systems are blocking certain emails. If you are still unable to receive emails, contact the office at [email protected].

Does APTA Pennsylvania have job posting opportunities?

Our basic job posting package starts at $249 for 30 days. You can find a full list of our packages here. Once you select the package best suited for your company, you can post your job through the website. On the homepage, scroll down to the “Featured Jobs” widget and click “Post A Job.” You will be prompted to create an account and guided through the posting process.

The Association reserves the right to determine the eligibility of a company or product for inclusion in the exposition or advertisement, either before or after the proper execution of the contract. In accordance with the APTA position in opposition to Physician Owned Physical Therapy Practices (POPTs), no advertising contracts will be established between APTA Pennsylvania and a physician-owned physical therapy practice.

POPT jobs will be removed from the job board without refund if posted.
