Join the WCD leadership and members for a hike at John P. Saylor Memorial Trail! Rain or shine. The WCD encourages hiking boots as the terrain has many tree roots and rocks. Pets are permitted, but must be leashed. The hike is roughly 3 miles round trip and the destination has 10'-20' high boulders to climb onto. Five parking spaces are available, but attendees can also park along the street near the trail. Verla Drive can be accessed directly from Route 56 roughly five miles from Windber.
