Title: Pediatric Physical Therapy: An Overview of Torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, and Developmental Delay

Speaker: Zofia Protasiuk, PT, DPT

Course Description: This course is designed to give an introductory look into three common conditions affecting the pediatric patient. This course will focus on Torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, and Developmental Delays. It will provide therapists who do not routinely treat these conditions a background information and treatment strategies as well as provide information on when and how to refer these patients to a more specialized therapist.

More About the Speaker: 
Zofia Protasiuk, PT, DPT, is currently a pediatric physical therapy resident at St. Francis University, working at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber and Milestone Physical Therapy. She has been working in pediatric physical therapy since graduating from Arcadia University in 2019, gaining experience in outpatient, school, and early intervention settings. Zofia is passionate about working with children of all ages and helping them achieve their potential in a patient/family-centered, neurodiversity-affirming, and evidence-based way.
