Main Street, Mansfield, PA and APTA-PA North Central District Speaker: Dr. Jeffrey T. Alwine graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. He works in Corning, NY and specializes in Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine. Dr. Alwine is affiliated with Guthrie Corning Hospital and Robert Packer Hospital. Course Information: Dr. Alwine will discuss relevant anatomy, pathomechanics, and patient presentation as it relates to the decision-making process when performing tenodesis vs. tenotomy for chronic long-head biceps tendon pain and/or SLAP lesion. He will include patient examination, including imaging results, differential diagnoses, and each surgical procedure.
