Course Description: We will be providing an update on current literature for the treatment of children with a diagnosis of Down Syndrome. We will be reviewing the differences between typical gross motor developmental milestones compared to those with Down Syndrome as well as reviewing two recent articles that support the use of resistance training for physical fitness in children and adults with Down Syndrome.
