Neurology SIGThe APTA Pennsylvania Neurology Special Interest Group is a state-wide volunteer organization that brings together any member of the Pennsylvania Chapter (PTs and PTAs) in good standing who share an interest in the evidence-based care of the neurologic population. Benefits of membership include peer-to-peer networking, providing a forum for education in Neurologic practice, and to identify and promote utilization of standards of competency for practice, research, and education in Neurologic practice. The APTA Pennsylvania Neurology Special Interest Group serves its members by providing information on current neurology programming in the region. It serves as a resource for networking among physical therapists seeking information on treating persons with neurologic dysfunction and providing continuing education in the area of neurologic physical therapy. The Neurology SIG seeks to provide quality education and information to its members to enable them to provide best practice care to persons with neurologic dysfunction.
